I self isolated hardcore and haven’t talked to anyone for about 2-3years. I deleted all my social media, change numbers etc.

What would be the best way to…pick up the pieces and carry on? I want to check in with the people I grew up with but were getting old and I overthink. What would a message be like without excuses for mental health?

I really beat myself up this time

Sorry, am trying to deal with the whole life passing me by

  1. You can reach out to them. Just make sure you say who it is if it’s over text from a new number. Maybe say something about how you’ve been doing all this time. But don’t be surprised if most of them don’t answer and don’t take it the wrong way either. Life happens and people would rather not start anything than lead you on most of the time. It’s hard to make friends as an adult and it’s hard to keep friends as an adult. Start small and maybe look for a group therapy or a hiking group or a yoga group or just something low key and somewhat social.

  2. I’m on year 4 of my self isolation at 21. Except I’ve got nothing to renew because I had no one to begin with.
