I think in our times the most commonly accepted way to approach people you would like to meet is through social media, like Instagram and Facebook. This way people get to know a little bit about each other before having any phisycal interactions, which ends up being more comfortable… You still can approach somebody in public but I believe this would be awkward to some people, because nowdays (at least millenials) can feel threatened/akward in this situation. However not everyone is like this. I think you have to be somewhat interesting to do this kind of approach and get it to work.
Yes, but it’s extremely unlikely to happen. Friendship is formed over connections, which random people on the street don’t have (outside of being in the same physical place, which usually isn’t special).
