Something I (20F) experienced a lot on dating apps is that many men ask for my snap after exchanging a few messages.

I don’t use the app anymore but back when I did, I would sometimes add guys on there and every single time it ended with guys sending me 10 selfies a day with ‘hey’ as a caption or them repeatedly asking me for nudes until I block them.

I’ve gotten to the point where I deleted my snap and unmatch guys who ask to add me on snap early on in the conversation, because they usually won’t take no for an answer either.

What do you think of snapchat in the dating scene? Do guys have the same experiences with women on snapchat?

  1. Same problem but as a guy. For some reason women think its weird that i don’t have snapchat. I have an instagram account i barely use at all, but not having snapchat is a red flag apparently.

  2. I’d put “no snap/ig” in my bio and since then no one really asked me. And if they did it was instant unmatch anyway cos I knew he couldn’t read

  3. All the times when a “girl” told me to add her on snap it was a bot, catfish, or someone advertising their onlyfans. Early snapchat (first few messages) is a red flag that they aren’t really interested.
