Job I’m applying for asks how many years of customer service and how many years of FOH. I technically have customer service related experience from volunteering roles but it’s a stretch. And have no FOH experience but if I put 0 then my application won’t get through the filters

    The filter is there for a reason, so you don’t waste their time.

    Do it, sounds like it would count to me? CS experience is CS experience.

  4. Considering the absolute shitshow of applicants I’ve seen on a regular basis, I think if the rest of the application is good, then you should stick a 1 in there to ensure your application is seen by a human being.

  5. Only If you’re 💯 sure you can do that job, then maybe stretching the truth would be ok. I’ve seen some job ads expecting the world and a zillion skills for low pay, so I’m sure a lot of people aren’t 100% honest in their applications.
