How do you get more comfortable with receiving and giving affection?

  1. Therapy is a great place to work on these things, because this is probably a symptom and not a cause. Therapy helps you find the root and yank it out!

  2. Therapy. If it’s difficult for you to give and receive affection it’s usually because love was not modeled in a healthy way to you as a child.

  3. I used to not like people touching me but now I crave hugs and gentles pats and touches. I am not sure what changed, except me getting much more lonely over time
