Still not exactly sure what it is. Need someone to compare it to something I understand.

  1. Apologies for not going along with the football analogy, but using acting as an example, you could consider dating as an audition. If you see something you like, you’ll call the person back for a 2nd audition or choose to pursue them as your partner so to speak.

  2. Dating is being in the fourth quarter, down by two touchdowns on 3rd and three.

You gotta go deep and score so you can get the ball back and score again.

It is possible but you gotta hustle.

  3. As long as you don’t fumble the ball, it’s just basic blocking and tackling. Hail Marys rarely work.

  4. Dating is flying in that expensive free agent to try to convince them to take your money to play. If they accept your money, more often than not, you will be disappointed cuz your pretty/shiny free agent fails to perform after they get paid. Only to be followed by a brief up tick in performance years later when they are auditioning to play for another team to get the bigger better deal.

  5. you are the whole team: offensive and defensive and coaching staff. most of the time is basic training where you do your thing and try to get better at stuff. when that isnt happening its game time, where you try your best to get as many points as possible and take note of what points are scored on you (like how close games are better to watch than a blowout). minimize fumbles and if there are a lot of points scored on both sides and everything goes well you go up against each other again in the playoffs

  6. Dating, and women in general, is like playing football alone against a team that can shapeshift. In mud. And in the fog.

  7. As a man it’s as if you’re the Detroit Lions and the woman is the opposing team.

    The End.

  8. You have the best 3 strikers in the world, but you’re going up against the best 4 defenders and goalkeeper in the world.

Hypothetically your chance of scoring from an attack is 1%, so you just have to keep throwing your 3 boys in their half over 100 times, sounds easy right ? The problem with this is that after a few tries they get tired, they lose morale, and even when the stars allign and they have an open goal they can’t focus and miss the target.

You can keep throwing them until they get injured and can’t play or sub them off and let the game end a draw.

  9. Dating is like when you’re counterattacking but your opponent uses the offsides trap.
