I recently went out on a good first date with this guy. He was great and I had a nice time, but he is just starting a medical fellowship that sounds pretty intense, and on top of that, we’re about a 2.5 hour drive away from each other. I’m wondering if this is just an impossible situation that’s probably not going to work, and not worth getting too emotionally invested in someone who is going to be very busy and also far away, or if dating someone in medicine isn’t so bad?
