hi everyone. ive never posted anything on here but i’m in need of advice. my boyfriend (m18) and i (f17)have been together for 7 months, and for the past 2 it seems like we’ve been doing is fighting all the time over everything. everytime we get into a disagreement over something, it just escalates and we never get anywhere. eventually one of us stops fighting and it goes unsolved. then, the next day when we see each other in person, it’s like the argument never even happened.

i’m not very good at serious relationships, and this is his first committed one, so maybe we’re just new to this all and trying our best to learn how to love the other, i’m not sure. i just don’t know what to do to help us get past this stage, any advice would help.

thanks guys 🙂

  1. Dump him.

you’re young, life is short, and the world is ending. there is a galaxy of dudes out there ready to make you happy.

  2. arguing all the time is NO good

but, arguing often is helpful (for venting, etc.)

so, I say SCHEDULE a *weekly* sitdown for all ‘discussions’ including anything that’s prone to be argued about; that way, the rest of the week is clear of the atmosphere of an argument might start up at any moment.

  3. Well, 1) it may be that you two have out grown one another already; or 2) maybe he’s going through something and doesn’t know how to talk about it and so, he’s taking it out on you unknowingly.
