Why do I lose interest sexually once I’m friends with someone?

3. Hard to say. Some ppl can’t separate sex from intimacy (kinda important for FWB). And some ppl require an element of mystery to find someone appealing. Maybe it’s a change in respect levels (ie: u want better for them).

   Maybe it’s just at this distance that u don’t look forward to it, but mid netflix/chill u might rediscover ur boner (or ladyboner). Who knows maybe they’ve even picked up a new trick or too. But if u guys don’t cross that threshold again that’s not a bad thing, as long as the friendship itself isn’t ruined without it.

   I’ve been there on all these fronts, and luckily they are all still ppl I’m in touch with while in a thriving monogamous relationship of my own now.
