I do it in my mind all the time
Yeah I mentally argue with myself all the time. Not usually out loud though.
I just have a weird habit of speaking my thoughts/reactions to myself. I try my best to say them in my head since others have caught me speaking to myself a few times
You’re not alone, I talk to myself everyday. I even spoke to myself as I typed this. I only do this within the comfort of my room though, or when I’m sure nobody is watching.
Yup. Speaking to myself tends to help me think.
I speak to myself in a quiet voice whenever I need to analyze something and I’m sure that nobody can see or hear me. I feel that it helps me to concentrate in whatever I am discussing.
I don’t feel that it’s strange or anything. A lot of people clarify their thoughts by writing them down in a dictionary, for example. If you clarify those thoughts talking to yourself, you’re just expressing those thoughts in a different form, but the idea is the same.
Sometime
I talk out loud all the time! If I’m alone in a room I just never get around to thinking in my mind without talking! Every single thought of mine is verbalized when I know I’m alone..
I don’t care about other people’s opinions of me unless they know me and I have respect for them.
There fore yes I talk to myself, daily, mostly in my head, but occasionally I vocalize it. Yes I have been looked at funny, then I inform them it’s a sign of intelligence and either walk away or start a conversation with the person.
