It’s been a couple of hours since we had the conversation.
I (22f) was casually dating this guy (23m) for a couple of months until we called it off today because he wanted more time and I wanted more certainty. I felt stronger for him then I did for him.
Whenever I bought up the idea of talking about our relationship he’d usually say he sees it being positive but doesn’t want to talk about it right now. I think that should’ve been on of my warning signs. He’s also only been in short term casual dating type situations which I was also concerned about, even though he said he wanted a relations, but in my mind that wasn’t a warning because most young people date casually until a certain age.
I love him and he loves me but something was missing for him and he wasn’t ready for anything serious.
My heart hurts but that’s expected.
