  1. Bum bags and I have no idea why.

I think rock should call them bum bags just to hear that in a wrestling promo

  2. They’re called “bum bags”.

Although “twat pouch” is sometimes an apt variant.

  3. We know Fanny Packs are a daft-looking type of bag with a daft-sounding name on both sides of the Atlantic. Generally we’ll call them bum bags because nobody who wears them can expect the pretence of dignity.

  4. Fanny has a very different meaning in the UK; therefore we call them Cunt Pouches.

  5. It is a bum bag but we know what you mean when you say fanny packs, diapers, side walks, trash cans, pants and most of the other different words because we watch enough American TV to be fluent.

  6. Fanny is also a perfect low level insult for someone who is being a bit of a fool… “Stop that, ya fanny!”

Teenagers have been wearing them again over the past few years, but worn diagonally across the chest. But teenagers are a bunch a fannies.

  7. Every name for this is wrong and wierd. I don’t know why it doesn’t just have a normal name

  8. Bum bags but the kids wear them under their arms now because, well I have no idea

  9. Bum bags and they haven’t been seen since the 90’s with the exception of US tourists. They made a semi revival via metrosexual man bags on the hip recently

  10. Though we do call them bum bags, given how they are worn it would make sense to call them fanny packs or even pussy bags

  11. Suppose really it depends how (and who), is wearing them. Bum bags at the rear, fanny pack or ball bag at the front

  12. For years I suspected that Americans called them ‘fanny packs’ just to provide childish amusement for other English speaking nations

  13. Noooo hahaha. They are bum bags (even though they’re no where near your bum)!
