I’ve(M22) been on tinder recently and I’ve been getting a good amount of matches but I’d say about 90% of them ghost me after I message them with a compliment, Usually gushing over their eyes , smile or complexion . A lot of them have their Instagram in their bios and some of them will say “never on here msg me on Instagram for a quicker response “ and then never message back if I do . I guess tinder is a good place to farm insta followers ? I match with people mostly my age .
Is there something I’m missing here or has tinder just become that shallow

Tinder has always been pretty shallow.

Most of the time, people dont have a problem with quick responses etc. if they are attracted to that person.
Thats kind of it.
They say that because they are trying to get followers on their Instagram and or attention. No one is “never here”. If they are “never here” why install the app.
