Should I ask him out again?

So, There’s a guy that I’m interested in. We have hung out a couple of times and the vibes have been great. I finally asked him out on an official date a few weeks ago and he said he has a lot of fun together but that he was seeing someone. Fast forward three weeks later, A friend just told me he’s recently single. Do I ask him out again or do I wait for him to make a move? Is it too soon? Would he ask me if he was really interested?
