Seems like everyone around me lately is just a huge fan of talking about themselves – which is fine and can be interesting to me right. Where the problem lies is that it feel like these people just talk talk talk about themselves , want the interest but never ask questions about me. And or if they do ask questions is just a question as a courtesy.

Omg Feeling the same why. I was getting crazy about a friend who was like that. Then we once talk about a date (of course because every conversation is about him haha). And he told me that the girl straight told him that he’s talking to much about himself and then i just agreed and he really appreciated the critic. I moved to another city and at that point i was to anoyed anyway so i don’t know how he’s like doing it know.
But maybe if that happends with a few people try to act more confident and push the conversation right a way on a topic thats neither about u or him at all.
But honestly didn’t find the perfect way yet to avoid this kind of behavior what makes me still angry a lot of times.
And including you in this case.
This is not an unusual revelation. Everyone’s favorite subject is typically their own life.
