I had just recently got a new job about half a year ago, and so far it has been a good place to work. The team and managers that I work with are awesome. Fast forward 3 months, and I have become acquainted with everyone, including the managers. Never really thought anything of them, except for one, the assistant store manager, who everyone is scared of, and are not fond of working with them. One coworker even said they had a nightmare of the manager! But not me,  instead I talk to them, make jokes and work alongside them. I’m more of a clock in, do my work, and clock out. No social interaction outside of work. But recently I had a dream about my manager, and thought nothing of it. I went to work and noticed I was interacting more with them, making more jokes, talking more and thinking more about them outside of work. I had realized I caught feelings for the manager. I know that I can’t express my feelings, but it’s making my head spin and I keep thinking about it. Any advice?

Sorry for grammer

  1. Just keep doing what you’re doing. Keep a strong friendship while you work there, then when either one of you leaves the company, ask them out on a date. Jobs aren’t forever, but relationships, whether platonic or romantic, can be.

  2. Never dip your pen in tbe company ink. Especially with someone higher than you. It puts your job and their job in jeopardy, and work place romances don’t work out and then you end up working with someone you hate but you can’t tell anyone or else you’ll lose your job. Work is for learning things and earning a paycheck. Its not for making friends or relationships. Listening ears can become talkative mouths. Be careful what you tell anyone because it can be twisted and used against you.
