Why don’t Americans protest against price hike nowadays?

  1. Because most of them understand that prices are a product of supply and demand and not some evil “price hiker” somewhere, and therefore realize that protesting increased prices is about as useful as protesting rain.

  2. Because most of us realize that protesting inflation would be a waste of time and energy.

  3. Unfortunately the average person (not just American) has no idea of how prices work and simple economic concepts such as “all costs are passed along”. Anyone protesting price hikes would likely not understand what specifically they need to protest amd would protest something that has zero power to fix it, even if they wanted to.

  4. It’s not really worth it. Plus Congress just passed an act about inflation or something. Right? I dunno.

  5. How exactly do you protest against supply and demand?

More to the point, *why* would you do that?
