This sets me off on some sort of quest to “please” them and imitate them or make sure I fit.
It happens in meeting/dating someone you actually like, but for people pleasers like me, this is a direct challenge.
And maybe skews the perception that you like them actually?

I swipe a hard left on profiles that say this, to me it translates to they are not looking for something serious. Like something MAY develop but probably not. Just comes off as flaky.
I agree with the other post. It’s a solid red flag. What you stated is exactly what they want you to feel so they can manipulate you until they’re bored. Abort!
