What place have you visited that filled you with awe?

  1. A Rothko exhibition…. It was like a religious experience… left me speechless and in awe!

  2. The night sky at this camp site in New Mexico I stayed at. I’ve never seen so many stars before.

  3. Last November I went to the Dominican Republic with my partners family and I was absolutely blown away by everything I saw. The ocean, the plants, the people, buildings, everything. It was honestly magical. So magical in fact, that I think I was throwing everyone else off with my child like amazement, but I don’t even care. 1000/10 would do it again.

  4. I come from Canadian farmland where it is flat AF as far as we can see.

Seeing mountains literally anywhere, I am mesmerized.

  5. When my husband and I went up to Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania in October of 2020 to find a house. I’m originally from Philadelphia, but never went up as far as Stroudsburg. Always stayed around Upper Darby, King of Prussia, Collegeville, etc. Stroudsburg was the most majestic place I’ve seen. And we went during leaf raking season, so everyone was raking these beautiful gold/brown/red leaves, on this super breezy, yet cloudless cool day. It was quite amusing watching everyone rake up the leaves on this day, because the breeze was blowing so damn hard. But, it was just stunning.

And for anyone curious, no, we didn’t get the house we wanted because the owner decided to just fly the coop during the offer stage, and we only had a few weeks to get housing before we moved to start our new jobs. So we got an apartment in Allentown instead, and we’re just as happy.
