When did you realize your friend was too self-centered?

1. When she would only seek me out to talk about herself. Then when I would say something about myself she would hurriedly ask “oh yeah, so how are you doing? Everything good?”

   I can’t believe I wasted so much of my life being friends with her and listening to her problems. I’m so glad she is out of my life now.
