Last year I was going to play some games at my house for my 18th birthday but my friends were moaning about how it sounded lame and that it would be boring, so I scratched all the games idea me n my mom made and took them to bowling. I felt really bad for my mom but she said it was fine. Then now I’m taking them for paintball and they are complaining about how it is hot and humid. I am sick of being weak minded and now stood my ground and told them to deal with it. But I hate when people moan about my birthday. Like wtf

Unless they are surprising you they can stay home. Its literally your day so what you say goes Unless they are being constructive. They are complaining about the heat during paintball so I guess they don’t actually play it for fun and sounds kinda lazy . You may be better off finding a new friend group during the pickup game lol
this is not what birthdays are supposed to be about, there are clearly some issues with your friends and to me it sounds like you need to let know one way or another to respect your decisions or piss off, especially on your birthday
