I found the girl of my dreams, however due to our circumstances of employment (not technically coworkers) she would be liable for a lot of grief if her work found out we were dating. Understandably so, that’s been consistently the reason I was told no we can’t date. Well fast forward a month and now she’s texting me all the time. We hang out in group settings a few times, then finally decide to have a long date and talk about everything. We vibe so well, and then I ask her when she started to like me. She told me well the work thing but also there was a “distraction”. It was a guy that’s deployed that she has known for years and said after chatting for a bit she decided nope he’s not the one. She reflected and realized I have what she’s looking for if she can just look past the grief of work finding out about us. (I have a large account at her store). I honestly feel great now that things are moving and we couldn’t possibly get along better. I just can’t help but have my teenage years of jealousy creep into the thoughts sometimes. Thoughts? Anyone been in her position before or mine?

  1. Understandable she didn’t want to pursue things with you. You could be a vindictive ass and take your BIG account elsewhere and cost her job if you broke up.

    The distraction is nothing.
