I (25F) went on a date (29M) today. We met at 4 and got some food, I was really enjoying his company, I thought we vibed well! Conversation was flowing easily! I was certainly attracted to him.
We paid the bill and he said “2 hours that’s pretty good going, I’m going to head off”. I was very thrown off as it was only 6 o’clock. I thought maybe we’d have one more drink. Anyway, we headed out and he gave me a hug and said “I’ll maybe see you when you’re back, safe travels” and just a hug. (I’m going on holiday tomorrow)
What I will say is I can maybe be a bit misread so I don’t know if I was giving off ‘I’m into you’ vibes. I thought it was a good date, I felt very comfortable and we seemed to bounce off each other, we we’re even looking at little weekend breaks in the country.
It’s just so difficult to ascertain if it was reciprocal. He was very playful over message before our date and kinda even asked me to send him pics (which i’d never do, I laughed it off). So I’m hellaaaa confused. Obvi there’s a chance he’s not feeling it but I didn’t get that feeling.

As for my opinion, it’s odd that he asked for pics, and I think texting immediately to show your intentions is a great way to guage his. You can even be explicit about what you want, and if that scares him off then thank u, next.
