I was recently dumped, and we’ve been no contact since. I found a couple of items they left behind, and I had no use for them, throwing them away seemed wasteful.

I popped it into an envelope and mailed it back. With a short note that said I found it, and I’m sending it home. Hope all is well.

Was that super passive aggressive?

I feel like it might be, but we’re no contact so I don’t want to call or text. I’m not sure…

Edited to add; thanks for the replies. I would like this man to come back into my life, we didn’t part badly, but I’m doing my best not to become the crazy stalker lady, and respecting his space. I thought calling or texting would be too invasive, and going to his house to put it in a mailbox seemed stalkerish to me..
Thanks again for validating that I kept the crazy lady locked inside.

  1. Doesn’t seem passive aggressive. Short, simple, to the point, not rude nor overly kind.

  2. I did the same thing. its the best way to respectfully give their stuff back, also very mature, good job!
