Guys with long fingernails, why?

1. I like them, I like painting them. It’s not bothering anyone except those with an unhealthy interest in how strangers live their lives and it makes me feel better.

2. I have three long fingernails for playing guitar. The rest are all normal though. I’m not talking exceptionally long here though – just long enough to get a good ‘pluck’ going.

4. Feels better to have long fingernails, I hate the feeling of short ones.

   Also they have utility, opening stuff is a whole lot easier with long nails.

   Plus I’m single, if I was in a relationship I’d cut them, but I’m not so I enjoy the small freedom that I lose when in a relationship.

5. I mean, sometimes I let them get a little too long out of laziness but not to the length of how many women wear them.

9. I usualy trim my fingernails when I notice them and have clippers handy.

   75% of the time I notice them is when I’m washing my hands after using the restroom with no clippers.

   Some times it’s long enough I don’t notice them.In a setting that I can take care of them…and they grow.

10. I keep mine short now, but I had long nails for years—I just thought they looked good. It became difficult to maintain in the long term though so I keep them short now out of convenience, and the fact that I work an outdoor job where they would easily break or get damaged

12. Not hating on anyone, was just curious.

    I’m a short nailer, cut them weekly usually. The nail itself is below the tips of my fingers. Hate the feeling of having stuff under my nails and I hate catching them on something.

    My wife appreciates nicely trimmed nails.
