Amazing first date and the guy texted me immediately after and the day after, but isn’t texting me as frequently as before our first date. He’s on holiday now, but I’m a bit confused. Any advice on what’s going on?

I went on a date with a guy off an app who was texting me for weeks before we met pretty regularly, but it was a healthy amount and he seemed really interested in me. Our first date went really well and we kissed a lot and he didn’t want to let me go. He texted me after the date and the day after to check in on me and it felt like our conversation flow was going to continue. He left for vacation the day after our date and will be away until the end of the week, but he hasn’t been texting me like before we met and hasn’t written me. I’m wondering if this means he’s no longer interested because it seemed like he was after we met, but I’m not sure if the radio silence is because he’s busy on vacation with friends or if he’s trying to relay that he’s not interested. I’m just confused because he texted me afterwards more than once and he initiated that. Any recommendations?
