Hung out with my male friend a couple days ago. He walked with me to my job and as we were saying goodbye he put his hand up to give me a high five, brought our hands down and then interlaced his hands with mine for a few seconds. I know he hugs his friends who are women so, I’m not sure if maybe he’s just a touchy feely person. I’m not accustomed to people holding my hand and have minimal experience.with flirting/non-platonic relationships. I don’t want to ask/do anything that negatively impacts the friendship or makes things awkward.

He might be just touchy feely. One thing I have learned in life is not to overthink anything and don’t have expectations. If he was going to make a move, he would.

Hugging is kinda whatever for guys. Interlacing hands is more romantic-leaning, but it could (rarely) also be platonic.

This definitely feels flirty af. I’m pretty sure he is trying to flirt with you or get close to you for dating and sex. And it sounds like you are not the only woman he is going for.
