I (20f) met my best friend (22 m) when I was 18 and a junior in college. We quickly became best friends, but I really quickly fell in love with who he is as a person. He’s intelligent and kind and would give me the world if I asked for it. We’ve grown incredibly close pretty quick, and we have a very intimate “soul mate” friend connection. He’s stated before that he has a no friends policy for relationships and I respect that and I would absolutely be crushed to lose our friendship, but I don’t know if I can keep it from him. I’ve had such strong feelings for him for over a year and a half and want more than what we have but don’t think he is attracted to me either. Advice?
