A good portion of the advice I’ve seen here suggest picking up a new hobby, going out to restaurants/bars, joining a sports club, etc., to improve social skills and be more interesting. However, many of these involve spending money.

What are more of the cost-effective or no-spend ways to be a more interesting person?

  1. Learn jokes and fun facts. Being a good listener is also a power skill.

Sometimes having an activity like walking, hiking, cooking can be a very powerful moment to have with someone too.

But could be a chess or sports club, a volunteering org, a bunch of different things.

  2. If you want to read there’s a shitton of PDFs on Literature and Philosophy and the likes

  3. Practice some circus skills. You can make glowstick poi with some paracord, lighter, and glowsticks

Or you can learn to dance through YouTube

All of the rules for Pathfinder 1e and 2e are online for free. Become a Game Master

Become super enthusiastic and engaged with life in general, every person you talk to, etc. That nukes people very interesting
