Need some advice, I (36M) have been talking to a potential partner (36F) for the past month. We have been sending roughly 20-25 text messages per day and talking on the phone at night for 2-3 hours. She is on vacation in NY with her friends and the communication has dropped to 1-2 texts per day. When I reply to her messages I do not get a response until 4-5 hours later and the conversation stalls. We have had one 20m phone call since her departure on 8/11, she returns 8/19. I have pretty much said that I will talk to her when she returns and to have a great vacation. I’m currently overthinking that she has lost interest and no longer wants to continue talking or is just in vacation mode and doesn’t really have the time to text or talk. I do have past trust issues from my 10 year marriage that ended with my wife commiting adultery multiple times. Any suggestions to ease my worries would be great!

I think it’s best to give her time and space to enjoy her trip. No one wants to spend their vacation staring at their phones. And it’s not fair to distrust her because of past relationships.
She is out with her friends. Keep it short and flirty and ask for pictures and cool things they did that day. Don’t expect any calls and no more than 3-4 messages for day (including answers to yours).
