Hey,
May be a dumb question, but not sure where else to ask. How do you find a haircut that looks good for your head shape, hair density, hairline, etc? I feel like for the last 10 years I’ve struggled so much with this and it’s caused me to miss out on a lot of opportunities. Is there a place I can go and pay to get specialized recommendations from an expert?
Thank you!

Ask your barber.
When you get a haircut tell me what do you tell them?
Go to a real barber instead of a fucking chop shop like Floyd’s 99 or any of their ilk. If your stylist is an attractive twenty something with lots of tattoos and has their gear in a toolbox with a shitload of stickers on it, you’re getting a lousy hair cut.
Just ask for a Will Byers. It’ll make you a hit with the ladies
I did this and it’s helped immensely. Look at the shape of your hairline > go to google images > google “male celebrities faces” > scroll through dozens of celebrities and look for ones who have your hairline > write down their names > once you have 2-5 celebrities on your list, google each of them individually > look at their various hairstyles > save the hairstyles you like.
You can also narrow down your results by head shape and size if you’d like. But you’ll need to scroll google for a lot longer. I only scrolled for like 10 mins and found two hair twins. Now I just copy their hairstyles. Did this like 5-7 years ago and now I just show my cosmetologist pictures of the style I want.
Shave your head and lift weights
Go to a real pro and ask him.
Ask your barber
Just try ,if you don’t like it you just make a cosplay of a person with cancer
I’ve been shaving my head since 2002. Luckily, I have a good shaped head. Haven’t paid for a haircut in 20 years.
I looked up some on Google and took them to the barber for a restyle at a decent place and they advised further. Worked out well as I’ve been nowhere else since plus I don’t have to explain everything again each time cause I wouldn’t know how
General rule is that you want your face to look “oval.” So if you have a high forehead, you want to have some hair breaking it up. If you have a skinny face, you want thicker hair on the sides or whatever.
The right barber or stylist will help.
