i’m in a relationship with a great guy who takes care of me. i recently started college (he’s out of college) and there’s a lot of cute guys there who i very mildly let flirt with me. i tell them i have a boyfriend but i still get really excited when they do so! i even feel a little excited knowing i have a class with one of them.
i’m never going to cheat on my boyfriend but i’m not sure if this is normal since he’s my first. i won’t act on the attraction but it’s there and it does make me feel guilty. he has expressed that he’s a bit worried about me going to college because of all the guys and parties and bad influences. so is this normal?

Blame it on your hormones, also novelty. I’d recommend you can have male friends but not spend too much time with any of them, specially not alone time. We sometimes get too used to people and things could happen.
