Men in your early 30’s how do you meet new people?

  1. Shared activities. Social hobbies, volunteer orgs that host events, becoming a regular and befriending staff at places. I don’t have many new “friends” that I’d call to hang out, but I have plenty of places to go where I’ll be able to socialize with people I’m familiar with.

  2. By doing stuff without my established group of friends or meeting up the extended social circle of friends. To name three specific ways I have met new folks recently: during a conference, during an organized trip with a group (vacation) and during a small start-up event in my town.

  3. Mid/upper 30s, but for the last 6ish years, I only meet new people at work or playing ice hockey a few days a week.

  4. I have been struggling with anti social and avoidant personality traits for years now, . I try to make friends, but it doesn’t last long I’m afraid.

  5. Why is this question asked here every day?

Also daily get the one asking how to make friends in your 20s.
