I (22m) work as Stage Technician, last night this women asked me if she can get a photo with the singer, i send her to the backstage door thinking she wouldn’t make it .
A few moments later she came back successfully and thanked me and asked for my IG. What should i do?

  1. If she asked for you IG last night why are you asking what to do now? Did you two stand there overnight with her waiting to get your IG while you check with reddit?

    You don’t have to give you IG to anyone you don’t want to. But if you in any way use IG to network then give it to her. There’s nothing here to indicate she’s even interested in you but if you seem like a connection that may help her meet famous people she’s obviously going to want to keep an eye on where you work and see if this can be useful for her in the future. Or maybe she asks to follow anyone who helps her out as you did.

    Referring to her as a cougar makes it seem like you think she’s some gross old woman who’s going to try to sexually assault you. Is that really what you think she wants your IG for?
