I am so sorry if this is a trigger for some people. I am terrified and trying to find answers.

I went on a date with a guy I met on Bumble. This was our second date and he seemed pretty nice on our first date so I agreed to go to his place for the second date. He made dinner for the both of us and after we had dinner I realised I was starting to zone out and my vision was going dark so I immediately took my stuff and left, he didn’t try to stop me and was very understanding. I walked to a safe spot where I can be safe and when I was walking there my hands were shaking, I did not even have the opportunity to tie my shoelaces.

I did not blackout or feel out of it, however now 3 hours later I still feel dizzy and I keep zoning out. I did not drink during or before the date and this has never happened to me before. Is it possible that I have been drugged? I am thinking maybe he gave me a lower dose so it did not have the ‘full effect’ on me. Has anyone had a similar experience like this?

Also I called and emailed drug testing and sexual assault organisations. I will be calling them again tomorrow morning and hopefully getting a test done as soon as possible.

  1. Your immune system having a reaction to what you ate can actually cause these symptoms. It could also be a medical emergency.

Does your country have a non-emergency medical number you can call? They may be able to best advise you.
