Just a quick question. I’m texting a girl, and her response time was okay through the weekend, but through the week it’s not so great. I know people have different texting habits, so I’m not too worried. She still seems interested, judging through what she’s saying in her texts, AND she’s sent me a really long text on one of the days through the week.

There you go. But why haven’t you been on a date with her yet? Have you at least asked her?
How she acts in person is a much more accurate method of determining interest.
People seem to be on different sides of this one. For me, if I’m interested in a person or taking with them, I want to talk to them. That means that when they text me, I tend to respond fairly quickly unless I am unable to for any reason. Main reasons may be, I’m playing hockey and I’m away from my phone for an extended time. Maybe I’m reffing and will say “I’ll text you when I’m free,” when I have a chance. Either that or I’m at work/in uni classes or whatever.
I know people are different but if you too are interested in one another, you should be talking quite a bit and respond fairly quickly….
