As title. We’ve never been to Cambridge before. 😊

    If you are looking for attractions, recommendations, places to live, eat, drink, or do, [take a look at WikiVoyage](https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Cambridge) or [search TripAdvisor](https://www.tripadvisor.com/Search?singleSearchBox=true&q=Cambridge).

  2. Go to the Eagle pub in the centre (just round the corner of Bene’t Street from Kings College), get a pint, walk to the back bar, and look up. The ceiling has messages from WW2 bomber crews stationed at Duxford. Read them while you drink your pint. The food here is quite reasonable and the beer is well-kept. On the way there, check out the bizarre artwork of the Corpus Clock.

    Parking in Cambridge isn’t cheap. If you’re driving and not already staying in central Cambridge, you will find it cheaper to park at the Park & Ride site at Trumpington (or any other) and take the bus into the centre. If you do choose to park in the centre then be aware that (a) the central car parks fill up by 11 am or so on weekends and (b) it will cost you about £28 to park there all day.

    Other things to do include

    * punting,
    * visiting the Fitzwilliam Museum (free entry),
    * generally walking around the centre,
    * checking out the market in the centre (food recommendation: the lady serving Brazilian food, if she’s there, otherwise the people selling Beef Rendang),
    * the craft market at the All Saints Garden (directly opposite the entrance to Trinity College),
    * the view from the top of the tower of Great St Mary’s (the church by the market),
    * some of the central museums are open on Sundays (Zoology, Archaeology and Anthropology)
    * the icecream at Benets cafe (which is opposite Kings College very close to Great St Mary, not on Bene’t Street just to confuse you)
    * Kings College Chapel (paid entry round the side via Senate House Passage, not the grandiose frontage on Kings Parade).

    Fitzbillies is a fine cafe, but may be very busy, If it is too busy, then get some of their Chelsea Buns to take away.

    Public toilets can be found in the Lion Yard and Grand Arcade shopping centres (which are conjoined, so simply head for the obvious central shopping structure and look for signs). The “Grand Arcade” ones are upstairs opposite the inside entrance to John Lewis.

  3. Felis Cantabrigiensis has covered nearly all the bases. Parking is indeed expensive centrally. Lunch at one of the restaurants on the river is to be recommended (not cheap! book in advance!) If you are at all ahem, cerebral, look at the Newton Mathematic Bridge (google location!). Walk up Trinity Street to Kings Parade. Observe the Senate House Leap (location — google it). See the Round Church. (Not many worldwide). The Pepys archive is in Magdalen College, perhaps not open Sundays.
