I would like to try some anal toys, but I don’t know where to start with. I would love to try a dildo, but I guess it’ll be too big. Should I start with something smaller and if yes, what would you recommend?

I would start wtih set of butt plugs as 1st. Nice kit of 3 lets say, different sizes, silicone based ones with large enough base to prevent your ass to suck it inside. Dont forget on water based lube!!!
After some time when your hole gets used on felling i would go after silicone/glaaa based dildo, maybe with curved end for easier prostate massage. Or just realistic one, thats up to you. Just base should be large enough!!!
