Does anyone know how to reduce the thickness of an accent, what exercise or anything I can do?

  1. One way is to record yourself (with your phone) talking and use that as feedback

  2. don’t. spend more time solidifying a very valuable skillset. When people need you, they’ll find a way to understand you

  3. Annunciate your words when you speak. And just surround yourself with native speakers

  4. Why do you want to soften it? Accents are charming and they can be a great icebreaker to start a conversation with someone new.

But if you need to soften it for specific reasons like for a professional reason or something, then I think the best way is to work with a speech therapist or accent coach or some other kind of specialist that suits your needs.
