Which potato chips can you only get in the USA?

  1. All I can think of are Takis, they aren’t available in average supermarkets. Only in specialized candy stores but they ask 5 euros (dollars) for 1 bag. Ill be visiting soon and I really like chips so I’d like to know about some more!

  2. Tim’s Potato Chips, made by Utz. I love both brands and I don’t think I’ve ever seen them out of the US, though Canada wouldn’t surprise me

  3. How would we know that?

I have no idea what flavors/textures are only offered in other countries.

  4. Cape Cod chips (I prefer the reduced fat as it’s less greasy).

Herrs Old Bay flavored chips. Tastes like old bay seasoning.

Zapp’s Cajun/ creole flavored chips from New Orleans- my daughters really enjoy these.

  5. Humpty Dumpty is a regional New England brand that I’ve only ever seen in that area (and maybe Nova Scotia). They have some flavors that are usually more associated with Canada such as ketchup and ‘all-dressed,’ but have the US classics as well.

Their Dutch Crunch chips are my personal favorite.

  6. Brands like Herr’s, Wise, and Martin’s, probably. I can’t even find them outside of PA half the time. Utz was on the list 10-15 years ago, but it’s starting to become a very common brand and might be out of the country in a few years.

  7. Hawaiian. It’s a brand of kettle chips with nice flavors like Sweet Maui Onion and Luau BBQ.

  8. I’m guessing Old Dutch isn’t available outside the US or even outside the Midwest. A lot of brands like that are regional.

  9. There’s a Michigan based company called better made. Maybe they can be found in Canada due to proximity. 100% though best potato chips I have ever had (their hot chip is best chip has flavor and heat).

  10. I’m guessing Zapp’s brand Voodoo, Voodoo Heat, Jalapeño, Spicy Cajun Crawtators, Evil Eye, and Cajun Dill Gator-tators wouldn’t be available in most of Europe without special order. They may have them in Mexico and Canada.
