Would you ever go to a nude beach? If you have, what was it like?

  1. I go to clothing optional beaches all the time. No kids, annoying pets or cops. That’s all a plus for me.

  2. I’d probably go quick to check it out but I’d need a lotttt of space to lay down naked. There’s one not too far from me.

  3. No I’m not comfortable doing that. I don’t want to see naked strangers and I don’t want others seeing me naked.

  4. Yes, very common here in Europe and not nearly as sexually charged as American film depictions. More often than not you’re staring down a bather that’s mature or an elder. Honestly no big deal at all; if you’re an adult and if you’re comfortable with your body.

That said, there are specific places for gay and swinger communities. Having walked through one and stayed at another; those experiences differ meaningfully. (Search cap d’âge if curious about liberated couples and nude beaches)

  5. Yes I visited nude beaches in several different countries . But it wasn’t what I thought. Mostly old people and All dirty fat old men were naked and walked around.

  6. If I got back into shape I would.

I’ve never really been the type to get turned on just by someone being naked, and I’m comfortable enough in my size downstairs that I’m not worried about being laughed at or something.

  7. Me n ma gurl were having a train ride to Sochi, and at some point the train passes through the beach area.
So we were staring at the sea and boom – nude beach.
    Damn that was ew 😄
Most of the visitors were 60+ yo lololo

Had to wash eyes with soap afterwards.

  8. My own experience, you get used to the nudity pretty quick. Usually the people at the beach are a lot older than you are, so not really the people you care about seeing at a nude beach. And, broad strokes, being naked alone isn’t really that stimulating for most people unless there’s something else going on. Just lying on a beach with your junk out isn’t much of a turn-on by itself.

  9. I would. Cause, I would not see and they would not see anything that you could not see by googling something like it in like 5 sec, so what is there to hide ?

  10. I’ve been once during vacation, before the dark times.
It’s awkward at first but give 2 hours and you won’t even care if people are staring at you,or care about their junk.
If you get a Bonner, you can just cover with a towel, lay on your belly or just enter the sea till you are soft again.

  11. Not necessarily nude beaches, but I’ve been to a lot of beaches in Europe and the Caribbean where clothing/swimsuits are optional. Going to one makes you realize that the vast majority of people do not look good naked.

  12. I lived in Spain for two years right off a beach that was topless. It was no big deal, older European women and elderly women. It had nothing to do with sex, more of a tanning thing.

  13. Went to Blacks Beach in San Diego, did not partake but I was just hanging out with a couple female friends and we noticed we were being jerked off to by a grossly overweight man with a very tiny penis

  14. I go to nude beaches and campgrounds a few times a year. The beaches are pretty laid back everyone is doing thier own thing while minding thier own business. Most do not allow pets or children. Campgrounds have stricter rules and some alow kids so there is a process and checks you have to pass . but for the most part they are chill.

  15. I went to a nudie beach on one of the islands off of Toronto , just to see what it was like

Didn’t disappoint, whilst walking through undergrowth to get to said beach, stumbled upon naked man getting a blowie from a naked woman. Guy nodded at me, I nodded back and carried on my way, and she went back to what she was doing (I presume)

  16. Its chill. The one i went to everyone kept to themselves mostly and no oggling. Theres naked guys with coolers and fanny packs that walk around selling beer and magic mushrooms.

A tourist came by and took out his camera to take a photo of “the ocean” and an old naked man ran up and berated him until he deleted the photos and left.

  17. Went to one and didn’t care to repeat. Bunch of older guys who seemed to advertise/show off. Not sure to whom since there were hardly any women there. oh,wait…

  18. I went a couple yrs back. The ppl I went with wanted to go so I said fuck it but once we got there nobody wanted to get nude at the nude beach. Took matters into my own hands & stripped in front of my wife & her best friends & husband. Husbands were a little upset but it is what it is!

What I saw! Older couples, weird old men, middle aged men walking around with mediocre hard wee wees. Friend groups like the one I was with.
Nice time to say the least!

  19. Been to one a few times since I moved to Canada, your expectations of it are probably a lot different than the reality.

The reality is it’s mostly just people doing the same stuff you’d do at any other beach…but naked lol. Picnic naked, reading a book naked, frisbee naked, eating a popsicle naked or drum circle naked. Take a beach towel and some snacks and have a nice day suntanning on the beach.

It’s clothing optional…a lot of the older crowd seem to be very comfortable there but those aren’t the ones you really want to see naked lol. The middle aged/college crowd aren’t as likely to bare it all but quite a few do. It’s a little awkward trying to meet new people there I mostly just kept to myself unless I bumped into someone I knew (and that’s happened all but one of the times I went). I actually felt more comfortable being naked* around people I didn’t know at all.

It was kind of liberating in a way…if you go with a partner it can be a fun bucket list experience but be aware there is zero canoodling allowed on the beach itself.

  20. Went to a “toptional” beach in France in my late 20’s. It took my normally reserved wife a day or two to work up to the idea of swimming topless. Then she gathered her courage and freed the tatas. At that moment a police boat drove by with a full camera crew on board. Obviously we weren’t breaking the law, but she was pretty embarrassed to say the least.

  21. It’s basically a beach full of ugly, out of shape people who don’t give a crap about how they look.

  22. Definitely not. I have a feeling:

    1. There’s way more dudes than chicks
    2. For the most part, people going to a nude beach are not attractive

  23. I quit going to the nude beach. I’m a bigger guy, and the last time I went I found a nice spot close to the water. I slapped on some sunscreen, and proceeded to take a little nap. I was rudely awoken by a group from Green Peace trying to shove me back in the water so I could rejoin my pod.

  24. Yes, and for the most part it’s older folks that are comfortable with nudity. Literally nothing to worry about.

  25. I was self conscious and was nearly hyper ventilating. Then I realized it was a “me” problem, and not a “them” issue.

  26. I went to one purely by accident about 30 years ago. I had just moved to Austin and I had asked a coworker where a good place to go swimming was. They gave me rough directions to the lake. I pull up to the gate and pay my parking fee, the start heading down the trail to the water.

As I’m walking down, coming up the trail was a beautiful blonde woman naked as the day she was born. I admit to my eyes lingering a bit too long. And I was in a bit of shock. I get to the water and everyone is naked. Not wanting to be the odd man out, I pull off my suit and join the natives. And enjoyed the time in the water.

When I got back to work after the weekend and was talking to my coworker, they started blushing and told me I was at Hippy Hollow, a nude beach. I was surprised to find one deep in heart of the bible belt, but I didn’t mind. I hung out there a lot that summer.

  27. Sure, it sounds fun. I also enjoy seeing naked people even if I don’t wanna fuck em.

  28. If you’re going because you like beaches and being naked outdoors, nonsexually, they’re almost all great. Most are very safe (as safe as other beaches on average) but check with local cops / guidebooks first. That one bad experience will stick with you for life. For new ones, bring a friend and a phone.

If you’re going in order to see pretty, naked people, show off your body, maybe get a hookup, or even just to spend the day talking with strangers, no. They are lousy for that. They aren’t pre-screened per your sexual tastes, they like beaches and being naked outdoors for non-sexual reasons. Most people aren’t really that pretty. Get over it. “Move along now, nothing to see here people, keep going…”

  29. Not nude beach but close. I went to Austria for a business trip and we were staying in a spa hotel. There was a “hotel side” and a “public side”, i.e. only hotel guests were able to access the hotel side but they could also access the public side. On the hotel side, it was no swimwear. There were many saunas and a few pools. It felt initially very weird going to mixed saunas naked in a public place since in Finland they are always separated, and staying at the pool area without swimwear was also pretty weird. But it took only a few mins to get used to it so it wasn’t a big deal.

On the other hand, it’s a human experience in the sense that if (when…) you watch porn, you can get a very bad general body view but these places show that it’s only a fraction of people that have the bodies shown in porn.

  30. Have and would again, yes. There’s an ocean there that you can swim in without shorts on just as nature intended it.

  31. This sounds like something I would do, wouldn’t care to look at anyone else, I just enjoy being naked…but I’m a ginger and the amount of sunscreen needed would be a whole ordeal. Would need to bring a canopy to keep me in the shade.

  32. I started fairly early in life (6 or 7 yo) so it’s quite normal to me. Main concern is not to get your butt sunburned as that hurts really nasty. And front side is even more sensitive.
