So I have hyperhidrosis which means I sweat excessively on my underarms. It’s always been something I have dealt with by wearing dark shirts, but I would like to buy some polo shirts that aren’t navy or black.

Even moisture wicking technology is not normally enough to hide the rings that develop on my armpits. Any suggestions for high quality brands or colors that hide this kind of thing would be very welcome!

  1. I’d probably get the sweat coloured polo shirts available at GAP in their ‘sweaty’ edition.

More seriously, I think black is a good go to.

  2. Have you tried Driclor? Honestly, it’s the only thing that works. I apply it approximately once a month and never have to worry about sweaty pits. You can buy it from most pharmacies (drug stores) or online. Amazon sell it too. It can sting and itch a little when you first apply it, but it is worth it.

Does this include armpit sweat pads you can buy on Amazon – and probably normal stores – that will absorb the sweat and keep it from soaking your shirts, etc?

  4. Some folks wear an undershirt year round so that it collects the sweat and the deodorant stains that would be on the outer shirt otherwise.
