Younger man here (24). I find that I am completely bored of life, nothing really interests me and I do things for the sake of it, not because it feels rewarding.

I have enough on my schedule to keep me busy. I just finished my degree which took a lot of time, starting a masters soon. I work at a bar and I DJ and make music on the side. However as time goes on I’m finding myself become less interested in all of this.

Exercise is one thing that works, I like to run and lift weights too and I actually feel pretty good when I do them. But you can’t spend forever doing exercise and eventually in my downtime I just go back to being super bored.

I guess my question is to older men, how did you stay interested and not get bored of what you’re doing after a long time? I feel like I need a constant stream of new experiences to feel fulfilled but that’s really unrealistic, even if you’re rich. There’s only a finite amount of things to do on this planet, let alone the things I’d be interested in. Anyone manage to get over this feeling? If so, how?

Thanks
