So there’s this girl that I’ve been talking to and we get along very well. We made out one night after meeting with friends. A couple days later I asked her if she wanted to go out some night together. To this she wrote a paragraph about how she “isn’t interested in having anything with me atm”. I thought the reason was that it seemed like I was more interested in a relationship whereas she just wanted to hookup so she doesn’t want to string me along and hurt my feelings.
Then only two nights after she said all this we make out again after having a couple drinks with me and another guy. She regretted this later and explained more over text how she doesn’t want anything with me because “you don’t want your first time to be with someone that doesn’t want anything serious with you rn” so basically she doesn’t want to hurt my feelings when my first time doesn’t develop into a relationship.
So I’m kind of in a catch-22 situation where the only reason she won’t have sex with me is because I haven’t had sex. I don’t mind having my first time with someone I’m not going to go into a relationship with, since I feel like if I don’t go into it with that mindset I’m not going to get hurt.
Tl;dr How do I convince a girl that I don’t expect and won’t get hurt when a long term relationship doesn’t come from my first time.

You don’t. You respect her decision.
Don’t try to convince her, just do what you are already doing, it happens by itself. Try and be sweet, and who knows, she may even develop feelings for you
She might be using that as an excuse.
