Mens clothes – Shops that offer good quality and affordable for mens clothes? Mainly looking for casual and semi-casual clothing.

1. Charity shops. Vinted.com.

   You’d be surprised the bargains you can get. You just need to put a little bit more effort in.

2. I rather depends on your definition of affordable.

   I basically live in Marks and Spencer’s plain T-shirts

3. My go to’s are Next, Uniqlo, Tu, ASOS, and Gap for good quality, traditional casual menswear.

4. Good balance of price and quality – Uniqlo, COS, Arket, John Lewis Anyday.

5. Uniqlo make nice stuff, ARKET, M&S. Second hand stuff can be great too from Levi’s and wrangler, Carhartt etc.

6. I live in Primark v neck t-shirts. The ‘muscle fit’ ones are surprisingly good quality and hold their colour which, at £4, is pretty good value. The cheaper ones (£2.50) are ok but do fade.

   If you like something unusual, Joe Browns.

8. For everyday clothing I’ll tend to just use ASOS, or if I want just a bog-standard plain sweater or t-shirt then I find you can get bits in Tesco or Asda that are pretty decent. I’ve also started dipping into Vinted too.

   I also love stuff from Levis, Vans and the odd bit from Carhartt but they’re a higher price bracket where I’d only get one item of clothing as a treat to myself. Plus the occasional shop I’ve found on Instagram, like Hobo Jacks.

9. I’d avoid Next at all costs. Primark/Matalan quality at M&S prices. Best off just going to M&S, Fatface, Joules etc..

10. The bigger TK Max shops that have the actual end of line stocks in rather than just loads oodles of the lower quality label stuff are a good place to look. Its time consuming to find the actual end of line bargains but after a few goes it gets easier.

11. You can’t go in there with something in mind and get it, but if you go into any TK Maxx you’ll find good brand names at a decent price

12. TK Maxx if you’re prepared to have a dig through, although occasionally they will have designer items with designer price tags (I once found a Hugo Boss suit jacket for £900 in there). The quality is usually fantastic though, I wear a lot of heavily discounted designer stuff

    But charity shops all day long. I’ve got Dr Martens boots, 5 pairs of Levis 501s, All Saints shirts, Ted Baker tops… And I never pay more than a tenner for a single item (unless its a big winter coat). I’ve seen Burberry raincoats and all sorts.

13. Aside from just suits, Charles Tyrwhitt do some more casual/smart casual clothes of decent quality.

14. I use Next, haven’t seen a problem with quality that others have noticed, their plain T shirts seems to last really well.

16. If by affordable you mean, not ludicrously expensive, Jack & Jones are good – great quality, on-trend. I spent £50 on jeans 3 years ago and they’re way better than the £22 jobbies I used to get from Topman. Sure, they aren’t cheap, but it’s very good for that “nice but not designer” bracket.
