Here in the Philippines, it’s almost non existent even though we have a lot of talented animators. Most of them are on YouTube. We have a few animated films and shows but that’s pretty much it. You can easily count how many of those with just your hands. Unlike the US and Japan where you can’t really count how many animated shows they have

  1. In France: very good and keeps getting better!
    Already a lot of prize winning and acclaimed movies like “les triplettes de Belleville” or “J’ai perdu mon corps”.

    Latest big success I think was Arcane, on Netflix, which was made by a French studio.

  2. In Hungary, the height of the animation industry was 20 years ago with the Hungarian Folk Tales and Matthias the fair (Magyar Népmesék, Mátyás az igazságos). At least I had a childhood with cool stuff containing the most well-known hungarian folk tales and a little bit of history.
