    It honestly is all over the map for why I watch porn:

    Sometimes it’s just to get the mind moving and blood flowing.

    Sometimes it’s for literal research because I want to film something with a partner.

    Sometimes I pick someone who looks like my partner.

    Sometimes I pick someone who looks hot and different because I want to fantasize about being with them. Or I want to fantasize about a particular set of circumstances that will never exist with my partner.

    No matter what I think they’re valid ways to enjoy porn that shouldn’t concern someone who is secure and has a healthy sexual relationship with their partner.

    Most people experience sexual attraction to multiple people and can consume media without escalating fantasies to reality – whether that’s violent or graphically sexual media doesn’t seem to matter.

    I think it is far more likely that men fantasize about a women they desire doing the things that the woman on the screen is doing.

There are three ways of watching porn: two of them are self-insertive (picturing being the porn star and picturing being with the porn star) and one is just visual (enjoying the looks of the pornstar while seeing them feeling good). I think for men at least is a little bit of the last two, other wise I don’t really understand how lesbian porn could be so popular among men. Also I think pretty much all porn consumers regardless of gender and orientation focus on the women, mostly because most porn content outhere (and pretty much the vast majority of sexual content in general like in movies and advertisements) strongly emphasises the female body and put focus on the women, so female exposition creates a stimulus that most people learn to associate with sex.

25. Part of it is that we get to see a person naked that is a league that would be difficult for us to actually see in real life. So we project itself into the situation some. That’s why POV is so popular and guys hate to hear the dude in porn.
