  1. Mood swings are the worst! I hate feeling out of control and like I’m at the mercy of my emotions.

  2. I’m off the pill and get rather heavy moodswings during my ovulation and first 2 days of my period.

I actually like the angry/annoyed phase a bit. Because normally i’m a worryfree and bubby person. It just feels good to be annoyed at everything anf everyone. I dont even want people to appease me, I get angry when you try that. Just leave me alone brooding lol.

Other than that I loathe the sad phases when i just suddenly cry

I always know it’s a moodswing and I know i’m irrational but I really cant help it. Even while experiencing it i know it’s a load of bull so yea, dont try to reason with me while i’m having moodswings. Just accept it, dont stand in my way. You’ll get an earful if you’re in my way.

  3. My mood swings can be fairly abrupt. I will be happy one moment, then crying hours later. I honestly don’t like them. I try stay calm, deeply breathe, and stay present and grounded.

  4. Post partem is a wild ride, chuck in sleep deprivation and an unsupportive partner and it’s worse. I coped by focusing the well-being of my baby and although I failed in many many ways that helped seeing their smile. Also calling my mum everyday if needed, bless her soul.

  5. They are the bane of my existence, one second I’m fine and then next I’m sitting on my bed feeling like an absolute failure and close to tears

  6. The main thing is to react to mood swings correctly and understand in time what the situation is related to. There are a lot of irritants, and it is important to approach this question with complete seriousness.

  7. I had terrible mood-swings and a medium heavy flow (5days). I had the mirena coil and it’s so so much better now. My flow is hardly there but the impact it had in my mood-swings is a godsend. I feel irritable for about a day and a need to clean, but so much easier to control than before.
