What food did you enjoy as a child but can’t stand now?

  1. Anything my mom makes. Sadly as a child I thought it was great, but as an adult, I know she can’t cook for shit

    pizza rolls,
    party pizzas,
    chicken nuggets

    also, beef and pepperoni

  3. Apparently applesauce. My entire family swears up and down that I used to go crazy for that shit but now? I don’t fuck with that mushy baby food stuff now 😂

  4. I used to really enjoy fried food but now my body can’t stand it, so subsequently I can’t stand fried food.

  5. Liver and kidney.

    I found out what they were and what they did and haven’t eaten them since. I don’t eat things that filter, it grosses me out too much.

  6. Canned beets. I loved to make my mashed potatoes purple with the juice. I still enjoy beets, but they have to be fresh and roasted. And not mushy.

  7. Ranch dressing. I got sick after eating it as a kid and now the smell and flavor are nauseating.

  8. Olives. I loved them so much. Until one day I ate an entire jar in one sitting, vomited, and haven’t been able to eat them since. The sense memory of vomit is really strong and I now associate the smell of olives with the smell of vomit.

  9. Tuna fish sandwhiches. It was quick and I could make it myself as a kid. Now I won’t touch anything that is consumed by mayo/miracle whip. Nope!

  10. Those slices of fake cheese wrapped in plastic. I used to eat them all the time but now the idea makes me feel sick.

  11. Apparently peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwiches? Who in their right mind would let a child eat that 🤮.

    Also, Reese’s peanut butter cups. I ate too many one day and every since I can’t do anything that’s a peanut butter and chocolate combo. I love both separately though 🤣.

  12. Grocery store sausages and nuggets, who knows what they put in there

    Sushi abominations, I’m sticking to nigiri
