My family has always owned and flown American flags and I continue to do so. I’m a Republican.
Technically, yes, but it’s the cowpens flag
Yes I have one.
I have one: my brother brought it back with him after his tour in Afghanistan and gifted it to me. It was one if the flags that flew over his base there.
Yes, I own an American flag, multiple in fact. No, I don’t believe it is a generational thing or a political thing.
Two actually. And a bunch of small ones. One flies every day. Two fly and the little ones used to line my walk way on Memorial Day, Veterans Day and the 4th of July.
Not sure if its generational.
I do. I collect flags from every country I’ve been to. My American flag hung in my apartment when I lived in Australia.
I lean right, my wife leans left. We fly a flag and I’m actually looking at it right now out my living room window.
I think republicans are more likely to fly one and older people are more likely to fly one. Military people are more likely to fly one.
I don’t have hard numbers or anything like that but that’s my general experience. My neighborhood is very left leaning and the folks that fly the flag are the handful of right leaning folks or military veterans.
I did as a kid. I wanted a flag pole so my parents put one up and I put my flag on it every day and I took down the flag every night. My childhood home still has that flag pole 30 years later and my dad still flies a flag on it.
I do but it’s a bit tattered (not worthy of flying) and lives in my garage now.
I have a folded one in a cherry wood case above my TV. Given to me by the funeral home when my veteran dad passed.
I’m 24 yes I do and always will.
I have a couple of them.
I do not, but I have a map of NC on the wall
Yes i own a flag(26). You don’t have to be a republican/old to support your country.
I have a US flag and a US Army SF flag. I have one other military one but haven’t flown that one.
51, and living outside of the US
No, and I don’t want to. (34)
Yes. My FIL lives on our property. He’s a veteran. It’s important to him particularly, so we have one.
I have a state flag. No US flags though.
Yeah, we fly it over our garage door
I’m holding out until Puerto Rican statehood is settled. I don’t want to end up with an obsolete flag.
I fly an American flag and my state of Missouri flag on my farm and I have both on a pole at my garage I own.
yes I own one, I’m in my 30s
29. I fly both the US and Florida flag. Also have a flag up on the wall in the garage.
Yep. It hangs from a flag pole on my house. Usually put it up in the spring and take in down in October for the winter. I do it because I like the way it looks and that it should represent all of us. I don’t like that some people fly it to “own the libs” because they think they find it offensive.
Yes I do.
